OUR MISSION

Our Services

Day Treatment

This program serves children ages 5 to 18. It is designed and scheduled to meet the individual needs of children whose behaviors and/or emotional problems interfere with them attending public school. Services are available for up to six hours every weekday, as needed, throughout the calendar year. Children are provided therapeutic services that address social and behavioral problems, anger management and help building skills such as effective communication.  Children also receive group and family therapy; tutoring and home bound schooling from a licensed teacher, therapeutic recreation, and other specialized therapeutic activities. The program's treatment approach is Positive Actions which is the Thoughts-Actions-Feelings Circle where positive thoughts lead to positive actions, positive actions lead to positive feelings about ones self and positive feelings lead to more positive thoughts and behaviors.

Intensive In-Home

This program serves children ages 5 to 18 who have severe emotional problems or have a hard time within the family unit which put them at risk of being placed outside the home for treatment.  This service is provided by a team of three professionals, including a licensed clinician and two coordinators who work with each child and their family using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques (CBT).

Outpatient Therapy

This is a service that provides individual, group and/or family psychotherapy and consultative services to children ages 5 through 18, and their families.  Outpatient Therapy is provided by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a Licensed Professional Counselor that provides therapy in a private office setting. Therapy sessions can occur on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on the need of the child and/or family.

Psychiatric Services

Psychiatric services are services provided by a Licensed Psychiatrist to assess, evaluate and monitor the use of medication in treatment or in stabilizing behaviors and mood disorders with the use of medication.

Case Management

Case Management is the coordination of services and resources to meet, manage and monitor the needs of clients receiving services. Services include intake, assessment of needs, service planning, service plan implementation, service coordination, monitoring and follow-up, reassessment, case conferencing, crisis intervention, and case closure.

Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCA)

A Comprehensive Clinical Assessment is a screening that is used to assess the overall physical, mental, and emotional health and wellness of a person.  A CCA is used to determine the diagnosis and the needed services for a recipient seeking mental health assistance.
